America Collage - Fourth of July Card

Hi Everyone!
I thought I would pop in and share a Fourth of July card I made using the Lost Coast Design Stamp, America Collage.  This  card went together fairly quickly, so I made five of them.  I sent out four to friends and family.  I stamped the image on white CS with Jet Black Archival ink.

The coloring was done with Distress inks.  For more info and pics, click over to my blog, Dreaming and Creating.  Hope you are having a great weekend!!

Lavender Blue Cosmos Collage

Hi Coasties!
Karen here today with the second card in my series made with the Lost Coast Design stamp, Cosmos Collage (one of my favorites!).    I made three projects using this stamp and will share the third later this week.  The color scheme this time is lavender and blue---very dreamy.  Take a look.

Die cut keys, fabric, and distress inks were used to complete the card.  For more pics and info, click over to my blog, Dreaming and Creating.  Hope you are having a great day!

Drag Queen in Glitter!

Hello Dear Stamper Friends:

Today I am sharing with you my very First post here at "Lost Coaster's Review's" blog!...

My name is Bibiana, I am from South America and I am a passionate card maker and officially as of today member of the Design Team of "Lost Coast Designs"!

I discovered "Lost Coast Designs" at my very first rubber stamp convention, back in 2008,  and right away I fell in love with these unique stamped images...5 years later here I am, being part of this incredible company...

I look forward to fun times ahead playing with all the whimsical stamps and teaming up with this great group of talented ladies!
Thank You, "Lost Coast Designs" for this awesome opportunity!

Ok, now onto the card...

This "Drag Queen" deserved some sparkles and I decided to use glitter, gold embossing powder and make her "fly" :)...

I use a "Glue Pad" to stamp the "Chicken Wire" background  and the "Wings". Right away, I added the glitter.

TIP: tap the glitter onto the glue and let it dry...THEN shake excess of glitter, ...some will still come off, but not too bad...the tapping and the drying time is Key to this process...
I added some tape foam to give some dimension; the flourish and the drag queen were heat emboss...

Here it is a last view, from the side; Notice the wings pop up form the card...

I hope you liked it and I look forward to see you again next time for another fun card...

We ALL, at the DTM, love your comments, so if you have some time please leave us a small note...

STAMPS USED:
Drag Queen; Chicken Wire Background, Daisy Flourish; Wings

Here's a link to a great video by Lindsay.  She's using Gelato crayons on the Large Shrubbery, but it's a fun and easy technique that you can use on many images.  Enjoy!

Thanks, Lindsay!
