Hi everyone.  I’m a 48 year old married mother of one, living in south Louisiana and I do a little bit of everything.  I like working in miniature, have been know to costume a few dolls, am an avid reader and of course, I love stamping.  I’ve been working with mixed media for about six years or so, starting out in the very beginning with ATCs and progressing from there.  While I do still create a lot of ATCs, I also create tags, inchies, canvases, art journals, and alter anything and everything.   My style is really all over the place, though I lean toward clean lines and a more traditional style.  I’m now experimenting with creating layouts in a small format and using stamped images and collage sheets instead of photographs.

Over the past 5 years, I’ve been a designer for Gauche Alchemy, Basically Bare, Art Anthology, Gecko Galz, and Technique Junkies.  I’ve also guest designed for Viva Las VegaStamps and Alpha Stamps (twice), and was on a (now defunct) challenge team for a while.  I’m also a Designer Member of AFCI, occasionally design for Designer Crafts Connection, and am the proud owner of the Yahoo Group, Art for the Creative Mind.

Hi everyone! I'm Paula, a professional touring and recording musician based in Atlanta. My music gigs take me all over the country and sometimes to fun parts of the world I never would see otherwise! I play historical harps--copies of instruments that were in use in the 1500s-1700s mostly.

When I'm not on the road for gigs I enjoy expressing creativity via stamping, collage, and altered and mixed media art. I started my art journey as a young adult, when I was a professional calligrapher active on the national scene; I taught classes and workshops, took commissions from companies like Coca-Cola, and had work published in the Speedball Lettering Textbook and various editions of The Calligrapher's Engagement Calendar. My musical education pulled me away from the visual arts for a while, but later I came back reincarnated as an avid stamper, and was published in The Stamper's Sampler and other Somerset publications. Motherhood and the demands of my music career took me away from the art world again for several years, but now I am back with a vengeance and thrilled to be adventuring in the world of mixed media, with my stamping featuring prominently in my work (along with an occasional soupçon of calligraphy).

My husband and I have two adolescent kids, a daughter and a son, who astonish me pretty much daily. We also have two purebred cats, a (mink) Tonkinese girl and a (marble) Bengal boy, who are slightly less astonishing but still pretty fun. What else?... Oh, I'm Swedish-American and lived in the Stockholm area for several years. The expatriate community is my tribe!

Other things in my life include tennis--I am an avid player myself as well as a rabid fan of pro tennis, and I usually am playing in a couple of leagues at any given time. I also love perfume, especially scents from niche and indie perfume houses, and have at long last recently arrived at the realization that a person can wear only so much perfume in her life :(  I'm working at wearing the hell out of my perfume collection these days and really really really trying hard not to acquire more! (Really!!)

Laurie Davis
I'm Laurie Davis and I live part of the year in Andover, Mass and spend winters with my husband of 50 years (yikes!) in Palm Desert, CA.  We have two sons and a daughter and two grandsons - one in California and one in Massachusetts.  So we spend our time chasing them from one side of the country to the other.

I got into stamping and papercrafing about 15 years ago and was first introduced to rubber stamps at a Stampin' Up party.  I bought my first set and I haven't quite yet!  I not only love stamping but also journaling, mixed media, collage, assemblage, calligraphy - any kind of paper crafting realling.  I am part of several swap groups and am now a new member of the Lost Coast Designs design team.  I love Lost Coast Designs stamps.  To me, they are much more fun and interesting than some of the cutsie rubber stamps that are produced by a lot of the stamp companies out there.

I am excited by this new "creative" opportunity and look forward to working with all the other Design Team Members.

Sue Davies
Hi, I'm Sue Davies, also known as Sue the Iron.  I live in the North of England with my husband and two grown children.  I retired from work last year, so in theory I should have lots of spare time - I don't know what went wrong there!

I've been crafting for about 10 years and love to play with inks and paints and most of all - stamps.  There is nothing quite like inking up new rubber or trying a new technique.  I've long been a fan of Lost Coast Designs and their fun, quirky stamps are right up my street so I'm really excited to become part of the team.

Cathy Norton
Hi, my name is Cathy Norton.  I have three kids, am married, and work part-time at Target.  I really enjoy stamping and got into art journaling about a year ago after watching YouTube videos by Dylan Reavely.  She make it OK to be messy to me.  I also like to make ATCs, mixed media, collage, and altered art.  Digital art is also a fun medium for me to work with also though my first love is rubber stamping.  I'm happy to say I'm a new design team member for Lost Coast Designs/Carmen's Veranda stamps.  I'm excited to be on the team and work with the great stamps and other design team members.
